So, who I am?

Honestly I'm a NOT normal gigner guy, who loves finnal efects. There's NO better feeling than looking at final result of some project. This is the moment, when u can say This is lookin fuck*n amazing!

I love games, sour taste, orange color, fruits, fried chicken, food thats taste good and I'm definitely LOVE wasting your time, bc you are reading this bro!

I don't want to be part of something huge; I want to be a big part of something that's alive

My history

So, I started about 4 maybe 5 years ago. I think my first language was a Python.

When I was around 10 or 11, I tried to learn Python programming. Those were basically my first lines of code. Programming seemed cool because you were doing something you had complete control over and it was absolutely YOURS, but at the time, I couldn't understand it. I'd get frustrated with the simplest print tasks and eventually quit in frustration.

Everything changed after a few years. It was a period when I drew a lot and played games even more. I discovered SCP:SL and became addicted to it. At some point, I decided I wanted to have my own server "just because." It was a whim. Many servers had their own plugins and bots, and I didn't even know what a compiler was. But I persisted and embarked on the tedious, unprofessional, and chaotic process of creating something that was supposed to work (it never did). The server was created after about a year (yes, a year, because of my lazy ass). It lived a while and died, but that's essentially where my boring development journey began.

After the server crashed, I became interested in creating websites and, to be honest, that's probably what I'm focusing on most at the moment.

I'm currently hooked and trying to understand as much as I can about development and force my arguments on others about Nginx being better than Apache and Xampp being garbage. I'm not a professional; if someone put me to work for a company, I'd probably shit my pants, thinking I'd do something wrong. Generally, there are things I'm better at than others, and there are things I'm worse at. I dream of one day being the creator of even a small, niche project, like Hubert Moszka, who created SL, or Cherry Team, who created both installments of Hollow Knight. I don't want to be part of something huge; I want to be a big part of something that's alive, and I dream of one day being like them, despite the fact that my programming knowledge isn't as extensive as this site might suggest.

And remember

If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

The person behind a code

Interestingly, apart from lines of code, I also have a life.

It's rather tedious and not very exciting; I eat, breathe, play games, try to leave the house once a month and NOT draw drugs.

Personality

Now we come to the section I put here just to clutter the navigation.

My personality isn't particularly interesting. It's more of what you'd expect from a teenager.

Timeline

Currently

Web Development Era

Focusing on creating websites (like this one). Fighting with Apache, praising Nginx, and learning as much as I can about frontend & backend.

~2021 - 2022

SCP:SL Server Owner

Created my own server. Learned that compilers exist, plugins are hard, and managing a community is even harder. It lived, it died, but it started my dev journey.

~2020 (Age 10-11)

First Contact with Python

First lines of code. Mostly frustration, rage-quitting over print statements, and zero understanding. But the seed was planted.

HTML

Thoughts:

★★★★★

The absolute basic and skeleton of creating sites like this. It's simple and fun.

CSS

Thoughts:

Thoughts:

★★★★☆

I don't really have an opinion on this language. It's definitely very useful and used for many things. It's cool.

It's very useful tool. Git make publishing projects, and working on many devices just easyer.

Python

Thoughts:

★★★★★

I don't know what to say. It has a lot of libraries and is great for extracting data and many other things. I definitely like it.

Github

Thoughts:

★★★★★

I think everyone loves this platform. You can public your code, works in organization, search for answers in the discusions or download cool opensource projects. You can also work solo. With Github you can save your project, backup it and easly back to every commit. What can I say? I love it, but I don't think using Copilot everywhere is a good move.

.NET

Thoughts:

★★★★☆

I usualy using dotnet to projects like class libary or maui. Honestly I don't know what can I say about that, but I don't have too much bad experiences with that and I thing working with that platform is enough nice.

Nginx

Thoughts:

★★★★★

In my opinion; very good website server. It's very sample, easy and practical. Some people around me says "Apache is better". IMO it's bullshit.

Docker

Thoughts:

★★★★☆

Very good environment. I'm using this, to so many project among others things to this site. You are working on smth on one computer and then u neet to go on other? Be sure your project will be working on every device. Greatfull thing.

Composer

Thoughts:

What can I say? Good tool.

Clonezilla

Thoughts:

MySQL

Thoughts:

★★★★★

What can I say?

Thoughts:

★★★★☆

I'm using Mint on laptop currently and I realy enjoying it! It's fast, simple and light

Thoughts:

★★★☆☆

This was my first distribution of Linux. At first I enjoyed it, but after some time I started to search some other disro and testing them.

Fedora

Thoughts:

★★★☆☆

Some people like fedora. In my opinion it's not bad, but I like Mint more. I think fedora is little overloaded.

Visual Studio Code

Thoughts:

★★★★★

Very good code editor. Everyone loves it!

Visual Studio

Thoughts:

★★★★☆

Some people don't like VS, they says Rider is better. Honestly i like VS. There is some things I don't like in it, but I got used to it.

Unity

Thoughts:

★★★★☆

I never created any game. I just using it to modeling some things to the game server.

Jetbrains

Thoughts:

★★★★☆

They are creating very good tools like Rider, DataGrip etc. I very like their tools.

Rider

Thoughts:

★★★★☆

Like I said in VS; I little more enjoy Visual Studio than Rider, but on laptop with linux and 3gb of ram, there's no way to run VS, so Rider is a good move. IMO Rider have more friendly GUI than VS.

Firefox

Thoughts:

★★★★★

Love that browser.

Figma

Thoughts:

★★★★☆

After Adobe XD i started to use Figma sometimes. I don't use this tool every time, when I have to do smth, but when I need to visualize smth to myself.
